Abstract

Background and aim: Visual impairment impacts on all aspects of the child's motor. Motion is important tool of physical education and it plays important role of developing health disable child. effects of eight week core stability exercises on balance, walking speed and quality of life for Visual impairment.
Materials and methods:present quasi-experimental study 28 males and females students were selected from the volunteer blind in the school of the blind sampling and availability and divided randomly into two group experimentalgroup and controlgroup. The static balance and Dynamic balance and walking speed (8 meters, Protocol Theory Society of America) .these tests consider as the pre-test measurements. The experimental group had been taking part in 20 minutes training for three sessions per eight weeks. Data are analyzed by SPSS software. The data were analyzed through Analysis of dependent and independent T-test at the significance level of.
Results: The results showed that there was a significant improvement on the scores obtained from the tests measuring dynamic balance and walking speed of the experimental group after 8 weeks of receiving exercises, whereas no such significant improvement was observed in the static balance.
Conclusion: Considering the results of the current study, it seems that the core stabilization exercises effect dynamic balance and walking speed. According to the importance of mobility, especially in disable children, this research recommends that use core stabilization exercises to improve balance and gait as a factor for their mobility needs
