However, these methods are limited to aerobic activities as well as  time consuming, and limit subject motions. The purpose of this study were 1) to present a new method in calculating mechanical efficiency by using resultant work approach and, 2) to assessed its reliability. Materials and Methods: 16 active, normal, healthy male students were selected in this study. Kinematics and kinetics variables, as well as, metabolic cost were recorded using cameras (JVC, 200 HZ), a force plate (Kistler, 1000 HZ) and K4b2 gas analysis device, respectively. Mechanical efficiency in the new approach was calculated dividing work on COM by the total mechanical energy. Work on COM was assessed using point-mass method, and the total mechanical energy was calculated by inverse dynamic approach. Pearson's correlation coefficient was used to test research hypothesis (p≤0.05). Results: A significant correlation wasn't observed between mechanical efficiency in the common method and mechanical efficiency in the new method) r=0.31, p=0.26(. Conclusion: The finding indicats that calculated resultant work approach in one step of gait  cannot be an indicator of mechanical efficiency.}, keywords = {Mechanical energy,Mechanical work,Metabolic cost,Mechanical efficiency,Running step}, title_fa = {اعتبارسنجی محاسبه کارایی مکانیکی به روش برایند انجام کار در مقایسه با روش رایج در یک نیم گام دویدن}, abstract_fa = {زمینه و هدف: روش رایج برای ارزیابی کارآیی استفاده از هزینه ی متابولیک و محاسبه ی تغییرات انرژی مکانیکی با توجه به مدل های ریاضیاتی می باشد. این روش معمولاً محدود به فعالیت های هوازی و زمانبر بوده و برای آزمودنی محدودیت حرکتی ایجاد می کند. هدف از انجام این پژوهش ارائه و اعتبارسنجی روش جدیدی برای محاسبه ی کارآیی مکانیکی با رویکرد برآیند انجام کار می باشد. این روش قادر خواهد بود تا با استفاده از متغیرهای مکانیکی، محدودیت های موجود را رفع کند. روش بررسی: 16 ورزشکار مرد سالم فعال به صورت در دسترس انتخاب شد. متغیرهای مربوط به سینماتیک و سینتیک دویدن، و همچنین هزینه ی متابولیک آنها حین فعالیت، به ترتیب با استفاده از دوربین، صفحه ی نیروسنج و دستگاه K4b2 ثبت شد. یافته ها: محاسبه ی کارآیی مکانیکی با رویکرد جدید عبارت بود از: کار انجام شده روی COM بخش بر انرژی مکانیکی کل. کار انجام شده روی COM با توجه به رویکرد جرم- نقطه و انرژی مکانیکی کل با استفاده از تئوری دینامیک معکوس محاسبه شد. به منظور بررسی آماری، فرضیه ی تحقیق از آزمون همبستگی پیرسون در سطح معناداری p≤0.05 استفاده شد. نتیجه گیری: بر اساس نتایج به دست آمده همبستگی معناداری بین کارآیی مکانیکی به روش هزینه ی متابولیک، و کارآیی مکانیکی به روش برآیند انجام کار مشـــاهده نشد (0.31 = r ، 0.26 = p). نتایج نشان داد رویکرد برآیند انجام کار نمی تواند جایگزین مناسبی برای روش رایج در ارزیابی کارایی مکانیکی باشد.}, keywords_fa = {انرژی مکانیکی,کار مکانیکی,هزینه متابولیک,کارآیی مکانیکی,نیم گام دویدن}, url = {https://rsr.basu.ac.ir/article_629.html}, eprint = {https://rsr.basu.ac.ir/article_629_fbcc9d3a5b23c5c468b7e1a9eda53510.pdf} }
